Engine Tests

Test Method Summary
The JASO M341:1992 specification test evaluates the piston ring sticking tendencies and engine cleanliness, at high temperatures, of lubricating oil used in 2-stroke gasoline engines, such as motorcycle engines, utility engines and outboard engines.

Test Fuel
Mixed fuel with a mixing ratio of 100:1
Test conditions
6000 rpm, full load for 1 hour.
Test order : The test is performed in the following order the standard reference oil, a candidate oil - on the same day in order to prevent errors from environmental factors, such as, atmospheric change etc..
Evaluating method
Detergency is evaluated by the JPI-5S-34-91 method
